You must cut your factory exhaust. There is a factory cut location, a dimple is there, which makes locating the cut point easy. This is a factory BMW cut location in case the car is ever in an accident and needs just the rear muffler replaced. Simply cut the pipe and slip on the Fabspeed system.

The factory OEM BMW muffler can be reinstalled using our supplied hardware. Therefore our quality engineered design is totally reversible.
