This Jaguar MKII was recently recommissioned by Prime Speed Sport to undertake testing for a client involved in classic car racing. Having served its purpose this vehicle is now ready for the next chapter of its history.

History

1962 Jaguar MKII Saloon built into a race car in 1987 by John Ure. Raced and maintained by John with log book records showing the vehicles first race event in May 1988. Competition history of this vehicle continued up to as recently as 2015.

The car was purchased in 2022 and recommissioned by Prime Speed Sport for the purpose of testing miles, for a client competing in the Le Mans Classic.

Extensive work included a full inspection and refresh as required of the brake system, fuel system and all safety aspects of the vehicle.
